Yoga is much more than doing a few exercises on a mat. It complements and enriches everything life has to offer. Where one goes from "nothing" to "something", and "onwards". An endless journey with many different experiences that changes you as a person into a beautiful conscious person (in you).
What is yoga?
Yoga is a word from Sanskrit, which also means to unite or connect. Yoga itself is an age-old tradition originating in India. It is all about uniting body and mind…. According to the ancient scriptures, yoga consists of an eightfold path that you must follow in order to experience total peace or enlightenment in life. Practicing asanas (postures) on the mat is one of these eight paths. This is what we usually think of when we talk about yoga. But as you can see, yoga is much more than that!
